The drive thru beer stores of Mexico

Posted on November 11, 2013

In some, but not all, corners of Mexico, the drive thru beer store is ubiquitous. The conglomerate that brews Modelo beer has their Modelorama stores shaped like a beer can. Tecate beer drive thrus are also common in the northwest.

I saw this drive thru Corona beer store the other day in Michoacan. It’s shaped like a beer bottle, but not the clear Corona bottles that are the norm overseas.

The stores don’t just sell beer. They also sell snacks and soft drinks.
