WICHITA — A confrontation that started in a bar Thursday night ended with a chainsaw and a car chase, Wichita police said today. Police are still looking for two men who were involved.

A group of five people at the Caboose Bar, 4311 W. Central, got in a confrontation with two men, said Wichita police Lt. Doug Nolte. Later when the group of four men and one woman left the bar at about 2 a.m., they reinitiated contact with the two men in the parking lot, police said.

Nolte said the two men assaulted the group, and one of those men pulled a chainsaw from the back of a 1990s white GMC pickup truck.

The group got into a vehicle to leave, and the truck followed.
