Report: Crime down in Idaho

Violent crime in Idaho decreased nearly 11 percent from 2009 to 2010, according to the Idaho State Police’s annual “Crime in Idaho 2010” report, released Friday morning.

The report is a synopsis of statewide crime statistics gathered from law enforcement agencies across the state.

Here are some highlights: — Twenty-one murders were reported in Idaho during 2010, the same number as in 2009
