RALEIGH — Superior Court Judge Carl Fox Friday agreed to unseal attorneys' motions in the John Edwards sex tape case but declined to unseal any portion of Edwards' testimony in the case.

Fox made public a motion by Edwards' former campaign aide Andrew Young to compel testimony from Edwards and a responsive motion by Edwards to avoid further testimony.

Fox agreed to compel further testimony from Edwards in the judge's own presence. The former senator and presidential candidate will be called to court June 20 to continue answering questions.

Fox agreed to hold that deposition in private and decide what elements may be made public within two weeks afterward. He declined to designate any parts of Edwards' prior deposition as either public or confidential until after that date.
