The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

- Six people including a policeman were injured when a roadside bomb detonated targeting a police vehicle in Karradah neighborhood in downtown Baghdad on Monday morning.

-Three civilians were wounded when a bomb detonated in Amiriyah neighborhood in south Baghdad on Monday morning.

Diyala

- Gunmen assassinated a Sahwa member in downtown Baquba city north of Baghdad on Sunday evening.

- A roadside bomb detonated targeting Sahwa members in Ameen neighborhood in downtown Baquba on Sunday morning.

Nainawa

-Gunmen assassinated two Christian brothers in Wadi Egab area in western Mosul city on Monday morning.

Anbar

- A roadside bomb detonated targeting the vehicle of Ramadi passport department Colonel Abdul Kareem Al Hiti in his way to work on Monday morning. Al Hiti was killed and two of his guards were wounded.
