Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Wednesday 13 October 2010

The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau


- Five policemen were wounded when a roadside bomb detonated in al-Wathiq intersection in Karradah neighborhood downtown Baghdad around 8 a.m.

- Four people were wounded when an adhesive bomb that was stuck to a civilian vehicle detonated in Karradah neighborhood in downtown Baghdad around 11 a.m.

- Four bombs detonated in sequence in Mamoun neighborhood in west Baghdad around 3 p.m. Four policemen and five civilians were wounded.


- Around 11 a.m. a roadside bomb detonated in Muqdadiyah town northeast of Baquba city targeting Iranian pilgrims. Seven pilgrims and four of their Iraqi guards were wounded.
