This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.


Two mortar rounds slammed into the Green Zone, Thursday. No casualties were reported.

A roadside bomb targeted civilians in Tarmiyah, northeast Baghdad, Thursday, killing one policeman and injuring three civilians.


The building that houses the Scientific Research department in the city of Dujail, 130 km to the south of Tikrit, was blown up, after working hours, Thursday, causing extensive material damages but no loss of lives.
