Baghdad

- Around 8 a.m, a suicide bomber blew himself up targeting crowds of recruits in Bab Al muatham neighborhood in downtown Baghdad killing 48 and wounding 129.

- A roadside bomb detonated in Yarmouk neighborhood in west baghdad targeting the vehicle of the director of Iraq appeal court Judge Kamal Jabbar Bander. Bander was seriously injured.

Diyala

- Two judges were wounded when a roadside bomb detonated targeting their vehicle in Balad Rooz area east of Baquba around 7:30 a.m.
