A roadside bomb targeted a traffic police stand in Bayaa intersection, southwest Baghdad, T 11 p.m. Tuesday, injuring two traffic police.

Armed men in a speeding car shot and killed a policeman on duty in Tayaran Square, central Baghdad at around midnight.


Men armed with pistols fitted with silencers shot and killed Mohammed Abu al Jeez, a member of Muqdadiyah Sahwa Council in the marketplace of the town of Muqdadiyah at noon when the heat keeps most people indoors and the marketplace is quiet.


A roadside bomb targeted an Iraqi army patrol in Shirqat city, to the north of Tikrit, Wednesday, seriously injuring one soldier.
