A roadside bomb targeted civilians in Shurta Street, Doura, south Baghdad at around 3 p.m. Saturday injuring three.

A roadside bomb inside a plastic carrier bag, left in a pot hole in the middle of Shurta Street, Doura, south Baghdad, exploded just as three policemen approached it to investigate, Saturday. All three policemen were severely wounded.


A car bomb parked in a car park, half a kilometer from the Shrine in central Najaf, detonated at around 8.30 a.m. Saturday killing three pilgrims, two of whom were Iranian, and wounding 54 others including 17 Iraqis and 37 Iranians.
