CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three people have been arrested and charged with hiding a dead man's body in a trash bin in southwest Charlotte Friday. No one is yet charged with the man's killing.

Yadira Fernandez, 36, Isidro Bueno, 47, and Juan Rivera-Amaya, 23, were arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with "concealment of death," a felony.

Bueno was also charged with aiding and abetting prostitution and maintaining a place for prostitution.

The three were being held in Mecklenburg County Jail on Sunday, Rivera-Amaya and Fernandez on $15,000 bond and Bueno on $20,000.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were called to the Windgate Apartments, on Kingsford Drive near East Arrowood Road, on Friday, when a maintenance man checking a broken pipe found blood in a unit. Investigators found a man's body in the bin.

They say the victim was subletting the apartment and his slaying wasn't a random act.

But police wouldn't say what led them to arrest the three people on Sunday.
