This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

A magnetic bomb stuck to a civilian car detonated in New Baghdad, eastern Baghdad, Monday afternoon injuring one civilian.

Kirkuk

Gunmen attacked and killed prominent Sadrist leader, Hadi Laiybi on his doorstep in al Asra neighbourhood, southeastern Mosul, Sunday evening.

Nineveh

Insurgents threw a thermal charge at a police patrol in Shaarin marketplace in central Mosul, Monday, injuring 10 civilians including four women.

Gunmen in a speeding car shot and killed one civilian in Nebi Younis neighbourhood, eastern Mosul, Monday.

One mortar round slammed into al Shaab school in al Bab al Jedeed neighbourhood, central Mosul, after school hours, Monday. No casualties were reported.

Anbar

A roadside bomb planted in a marketplace in central Fallujah targeted a police patrol, Monday, injuring two policemen and two civilians.
