Baghdad

- Six civilians were injured when a magnetic bomb stuck to a mini bus carrying passengers exploded in central Baghdad near a busy bust station around 7 a.m.

- Three mortar shells slammed into Abu Desheer neighborhood injuring nine civilians around 4 p.m.

Kirkuk

- Police found the dead body of a citizen few hours after he was kidnapped in south Kirkuk.
