A magnetic bomb stuck to an empty tanker truck detonated in al Obaidi neighbourhood, northeastern Baghdad, at 10 p.m. Thursday causing no human casualties.


Gunmen shot and killed a policeman in Bab al Toob neighbourhood, central Mosul, Friday.

Gunmen shot and killed a traffic policeman in Karama neighbourhood, eastern Mosul, Friday.

A roadside bomb targeted an Iraqi army patrol in Baaj district, 120 km to the west of Mosul, Friday killing one soldier.

A policeman was injured by sniper fire in Shifaa neighbourhood, western Mosul, Friday.
