This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.


A car bomb parked on the commercial street in Saidiyah neighbourhood went off at 11 p.m. Thursday injuring seven civilians and causing material damages to nearby shops.

A magnetic bomb stuck to a civilian car detonated late Thursday near a Support Council centre in Amil neighbourhood injuring three civilians.


Two insurgents were killed while transporting an IED in Fallujah Thursday evening.


A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in Mamoun neighbourhood, western Mosul, Friday evening, injuring three policemen and three civilians.

A roadside bomb targeted a police patrol in Thawra neighbourhood, western Mosul, injuring one policeman and one civilian.
