The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

- Around 10 a.m. a roadside bomb targeted a police vehicle in Karrada neighborhood injuring four policemen.

Nineveh

- Gunmen killed a civilian in front of his house in al Nour neighborhood in east Mosul.

- A roadside bomb targeted a patrol of the Iraqi army in western Mosul injuring two soldiers.

- A roadside bomb targeted Iraqi army soldiers in al Yarmouk neighborhood in west Mosul. One civilian was injured.

- Gunmen stormed a house in al Rifaq neighborhood in east Mosul killing a girl and injuring her mother.
