This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It’s posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy’s Washington Bureau.


Around 6 a.m. a roadside bomb detonated near a liquor store in Doura neighborhood in south Baghdad damaging the store.

Explosive experts detonated under control an IED in Sheikh Omar area in downtown Baghdad around 10 a.m. No casualties reported.


Eight people (three men, three children and two women were killed and 20 others were wounded by a parked car bomb in Haditha town northwest of Ramadi city around 10 a.m.
