A roadside bomb exploded near Bunniyah Mosque in Allawi neighbourhood, central Baghdad around 1.30 p.m. Friday injuring two civilians.

Around 3 p.m. a roadside bomb targeted a U.S. military convoy on Muhammed al Qassim highway near the Nidaa mosque in Qahira neighborhood in northern Baghdad on Friday. No casualties were reported.
