Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq-Wednesday 15 April 2009

The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.


- Around 9 a.m. a magnetic bomb attached to a civilian car detonated in Haifa Street in downtown Baghdad on Wednesday. Two people were wounded.

- Around 9:15 p.m. a roadside bomb detonated in Dora neighborhood in southern Baghdad. Two people were wounded.


- A sedan car bomb detonated in Al-Wasity neighborhood in downtown Kirkuk targeting a bus carrying FPS (Facility Protection Services) members of the North Oil Company on Wednesday. Ten people were killed and at least 27 others wounded .
