This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It’s posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy’s Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

Three civilians were injured after a mortar that slammed into Zafaraniyah area southeast Baghdad around 9 a.m.

Two civilians were injured after a mortar slammed into Zayuna neighborhood in east Baghdad around 9 a.m.

Nineveh

Seven people were killed four policemen and five civilians) 38 other people were injured including nine policemen by a suicide truck bomb that targeted al Mahatta police station in downtown Mosul city around 9 a.m.

Anbar

A police officer was injured by an adhesive bomb that was stuck to his car. The incident tool place near the officer’s house in downtown Fallujah around 10 a.m.
