Arrest of Biloxi homeless caught on tape

Biloxi Police this morning arrested six homeless men in a raid on property behind the old Broadwater resort and golf course.

Police Sgt. Jackie Rhodes said the property owners gave police a letter authorizing them to arrest trespassers. Rhodes said the area was about to be cleared for parking for an upcoming public event.

At the time of the raid, a Sun Herald photographer was videotaping interviews at the campsite for a series of stories on homelessness.
