WASHINGTON - Former Washington Gov. Gary Locke, the nation's first Chinese-American governor, will likely be named secretary of commerce, a senior administration official said Monday.

The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because a decision has not been made yet.

Locke served two terms as governor of Washington state. He would become Obama's third choice for the post.
