The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

A roadside bomb targeted a Sahwa patrol in Omar Abdulaziz Street in Adhamiyah, northern Baghdad at 9 a.m. Tuesday injuring one Sahwa member.

A gunman shot an RPG missile at a military barracks located in an unoccupied school in Sadr city, northeastern Baghdad at 9 p.m. Tuesday killing one soldier and injuring four others.

Diyala

Two roadside bombs target a public transport garage in al Belda neighbourhood, central Baquba a few minutes before noon, Tuesday killing two civilians, injuring 13 people including one woman and six policemen.

Salahuddin

A roadside bomb planted behind a caravan belonging to the Support Forces HQ in Siniyah district, 5 km to the west of the city of Baiji detonated, Monday evening killing three members of the Support Forces, injuring three others.

Nineveh

Gunmen in a speeding car opened fire and killed a civilian in Tel Atta village, to the west of Mosul city at 7 p.m.

A sticky bomb stuck to a policeman's car detonated in Hammam al Aleel district, 20 km to the south of Mosul at around 8 p.m. The policeman escaped with injuries.
