The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

A roadside bomb targeted an Iraqi Army patrol in Karrada, central Baghdad at 10 a.m. Sunday, injuring two soldiers and two civilians.

The Minister's offices in the Ministry of Science and Technology, Jadriyah, central Baghdad were torched late Sunday. The fire fighters are still trying to put out the fire as this report is being written and no casualties have been reported so far.

Nineveh

A pushcart abandoned by the sidewalk in Palestine neighbourhood, southern Mosul exploded injuring three civilians.
