The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.


- Tuesday afternoon, a roadside bomb targeted the Rabia and Samar’s police convoy in Bab Sinjar neighborhood. Two policemen were wounded.

- Tuesday night, a roadside bomb targeted an Iraqi army patrol in Mosul. Two people were wounded including one soldier.

- Police found one dead body in Mosul on Tuesday.

- A motor-bike bomb detonated in downtown Mosul targeting a police patrol Wednesday afternoon. Five people were wounded including three policemen.

- Police found one dead body in the New Mosul neighborhood in Mosul Wednesday afternoon.
