Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq - Wednesday 10 December 2008

The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

- A roadside bomb detonated in Zafaraniyah neighborhood (east Baghdad) targeting a police patrol around 6 p.m. Five people were injured including one policeman.

- Police found one dead body in Taji (north of Baghdad) in Karkh bank in Baghdad today.

Mosul

- A roadside bomb detonated in Sukar neighborhood in Mosul city Tuesday night. No casualties reported.
