Baghdad

- A roadside bomb detonated in Al Tijari street in Saidiyah neighborhood (south Baghdad)around 10:45 am. Two people were injured.

Diyala

- A roadside bomb detonated in Anasfa neighborhood in downtown Baquba around 2:30 pm. The target was the head of joint center of the Iraqi and American army in Baquba, the colonel Raghib Al-Omairi and the deputy governor of Baquba city. Eleven people were wounded including eight policemen.
