One thing Elaine Breeden did not get from her high school was swimming expertise.

Trinity Christian Academy does not have a swim team.

The school is so small — about 370 students from pre-kindergarten through high school — that it is somewhat of a secret in Lexington. But it provided plenty of positives: A solid, faith-based education. Small classes. A loyal support system.

Set to represent Team USA in the 100- and 200-meter butterfly events, as well as the medley relay, at the Beijing Olympics, Breeden is no doubt expanding Trinity Christian’s reputation
