Round-up of Daily Violence - Monday 28 July 2008

The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

- Two female suicide bombers and one IED targeted the pilgrims of the Imam Musa Al-Kadhim, who is the descendant of the Prophet Mohammed, on the anniversary of his death in Karrada neighborhood this morning. At least 26 people were killed (including 2 traffic policemen, one policeman) and 95 others injured, police and medical sources said. Also a cerfew for vehicles is announced to be from 5 am on Tuesday till 5 am Wednesday.

Kirkuk

- Around 9 am a female suicide bomber targeted a demonstration against approving the provincial elections law in Kirkuk city. 25 people were killed and 200 others were injured. A cerfew is announced after the explosion till 5 am on Tuesday.

Diyala

- Around 9:30 am a roadside bomb detonated in Balad Ruz town( 24 miles east Baquba). Four people were killed including
