Baghdad

An Iraqi Army checkpoint manned by both army servicemen and Sahwa members, a U.S. backed militia, was attacked by gunmen in Ghazaliyah, west Baghdad at 3 p.m. Friday. The army cordoned the neighbourhood and casualties are still unknown.
