Adel Abdulhehim, of China, was captured when Pakistani military arrested him when he sought refuge in a Mosque just across the border from Afghanistan.

He said he had fled with the other Uyghurs and several others from what he calls a Uyghur camp in Afghanistan. U.S. officials labeled it a Taliban supported camp. He was not near a battlefield. Abdulhehim arrived in Guantanamo June 2002 and was released May 2006.
