John McCain said Monday that a premature withdrawal from Iraq eventually would require the United States to "re-invade" later to deal with the aftermath.

"For if we withdraw hastily and irresponsibly, we will guarantee the trouble will come immediately," he said during a 27-minute speech at Kansas City's National World War I Museum.

He said withdrawal calls from both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, saying were "irresponsible" and "reckless."
