A campaign already challenging the notion that America isn't ready for a black president is trying to set the record straight. It has set up a Web page titled: "Obama Has Never Been a Muslim and Is a Committed Christian."

The allegations about Barack Obama's ties to radical Islam began nearly a year ago in a now-discredited article in Insight magazine, which is owned by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon. The story said Obama attended an Islamic fundamentalist school, a madrassa, when he lived as a child in Indonesia. CNN and other national media went to Indonesia and found a public elementary school.
