Round-up of Daily Violence in Iraq-28 November 2007

The daily Iraq violence report is compiled by McClatchy Newspapers Special Correspondents in Baghdad from police, military and medical reports. This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClatchy's Washington Bureau.

Baghdad

- Around 8 a.m. a roadside bomb targeted civilians near Al Shurta tunnel west Baghdad, injuring 3 civilians.

- Around 11 a.m. a roadside bomb targeted Iraqi army vehicle in Mansour west Baghdad, injuring two soldiers and one civilian.

- Iraqi police said 4 bodyguards of state minister for tribal affairs were injured by Iraqi army soldiers in a checkpoint in Al Harthiyah west Baghdad. Police said the convoy was stopped and bodyguards were arguing with the soldiers and the arguments developed to a clash.

- Iraqi police found 3 dead bodies throughout Baghdad. 1 in Doura, 1 in Amil, 1 in Bayaa

Kirkuk

- Around noon, gunmen killed Muhaned Mekhlif at a used cars dealership in Al Hawija west of Kirkuk.
