This is not a comprehensive list of all violence in Iraq, much of which goes unreported. It's posted without editing as transmitted to McClachy's Washington Bureau

Baghdad

-1 civilian injured by IED explosion in New Baghdad district, east Baghdad at around 10:00 this morning.

-1 civilian killed and 3 injured in car bomb explosion in the car park of al-Karkh courthouse in upscale Mansour neighborhood, around 11:00 am. The parked vehicle was detonated by remote control.

-11 unidentified bodies were found in Baghdad by Iraqi Police today. 1 in Qahira; 1 in Saidiya; 1 in Jami'a; 1 in Ghazaliya; 1 in Kadhemiya; 2 in New Baghdad; 2 in Dora and 2 in Amil.

Kirkuk

-1 Iraqi Army soldier killed. Azad Qadir Ahmed, was attacked by gunmen in al-Askari neighborhood in the city of Kiruk late yesterday evening.

-1 Iraqi Army soldier killed. Mohammed Jumaa's house was raided by gunmen, in Hawija district to the west of the city of Kirkuk, early this morning. He was killed defending his home and family.

-1 policeman injured by IED targeting the police patrol while on duty in Kornish St. near the sheep market downtown Kirkuk, at 05:30 pm.

-1 civilian killed by gunmen driving by in a Mitsubishi sedan in Qadisiya neighborhood in Kirkuk city, at 12:40 pm.
