Poll: South Carolina sees economy getting better

The majority of South Carolinians think their financial situation is fair to good and getting better, according to the latest Winthrop Poll released today.

The economy, jobs and the budget were the top concerns facing the state among those polled. But for the most part, they are not stressed out about it.

About three-quarters of those polled said they had not experienced much worry the day before the poll was taken and 66 percent said they had not experienced much stress that day.
